We met Ian shortly after the birth and death of our infant son. Ian came to the hospital, in his role as a volunteer photographer for the charity “Remember My Baby”, to take pictures of us with Rowan. On the most difficult day of our lives, Ian was a generous, thoughtful and sensitive presence. A few weeks later, we commissioned him to photograph Rowan's funeral and burial. Ian's beautiful and very human images are an integral part of our family's story.
